Sean Mowery

Sean began training Jiu-Jitsu at the age of five and developed his passion for grappling through years of competition. In middle and high school, he was a standout wrestler, earning titles as a Sectional Champion, Paradise Valley School District All-District Champion, and multi-time Arizona State Qualifier, competing at the state level during both his junior and senior years.

Today, Sean continues to compete in Jiu-Jitsu on the global stage as a multiple-time IBJJF Open Champion and active competitor. At the Academy, he brings that same dedication and technical precision to his coaching, helping kids build confidence and discipline, and teaching adults advanced techniques and competition strategies.
