Darin Mowery

Darin began his Jiu-Jitsu journey in 2010, drawn to the real-world effectiveness of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and its direct application to his work in law enforcement. With a strong commitment to safety and empowerment, Darin completed the Gracie Instructor Certification Program in 2013 and is certified to teach all core programs: Gracie Bullyproof®, Gracie Combatives®, the Master Cycle®, and Gracie Survival Tactics® Levels 1 and 2 for law enforcement.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and brings decades of martial arts experience to the mat, including a Third Degree Black Belt in Ed Parker’s American Kenpo. As a former Arizona POST Defensive Tactics Instructor, Darin is passionate about teaching both kids and adults how to defend themselves with confidence and control.
